El suicidio es quizás la causa de muerte más asociada a factores psicológicos, ya que implica una decisión consciente de terminar con la propia vida.
La labor de los profesionales de la salud mental es vital para comprender el suicidio y desarrollar mecanismos de prevención.
La prevención del suicidio requiere la colaboración entre distintos sectores de la sociedad, tanto públicos como privados, incluyendo salud, educación, entre otros medios.

Nuestros Servicios

The Commission offers a variety of services designed to address suicide prevention in Puerto Rico. Nos enfocamos en impactar poblaciones vulnerables como hombres, niñas, niños y jóvenes, buscando el fortalecimiento de las capacidades psicológicas en tiempos de crisis, garantizando un enfoque integral y humano en cada uno de sus esfuerzos. La mayoría de nuestros talleres están convalidados para horas de ética gubernamental y nuestras actividades educativas se ofrecen de manera presencial o virtual.
